For those seeking an exhilarating experience in Langkawi, we head over to Kubang Badak River for an exciting Kayaking adventure.
Upon arrival at the Jetty, we’ll kick off with a brief orientation and offer useful kayaking tips tailored for beginners. Prior to boarding the kayak, everyone will secure their safety life jackets. Boarding the kayak will be done one person at a time.
Once everyone is aboard, we’re set to embark on our kayaking escapade. We’ll navigate at a leisurely pace to savor the tranquility of this river and journey towards the expansive sea.
During the journey, our guide will enlighten us with intriguing facts and insights into the significance and intricate ecosystem of the mangrove forest. The interlacing roots of these distinct plants serve as a breeding ground for numerous organisms that have adapted clever ways to thrive in an environment influenced by the ocean’s tides.
On this kayaking excursion, we might catch sight of sea eagles and kites, kingfishers, herons, mudskippers, fiddler crabs, and monitor lizards. Our stops include Pinang Cave, a relic of an ancient sea cave shaped by waves when the sea level was 25 meters higher than its current state.
Continuing our journey, we’ll paddle towards Charcoal Kiln. Our adventure concludes at Jemuruk Island, where we’ll unwind with a refreshing swim. Upon returning to the jetty, we’ll then head to a nearby local house for a delectable homemade lunch and some refreshing beverages.
